I got this supercute Houston Bearista from a friend who lives in Houston. He’s a little bit dusty, but he’s got a smart Starbucks baseball cap, a green and white Houston t-shirt, a grey messenger bag, navy blue pants, and cute striped shoes! He is from 2008 and is a Special Edition in the Bearista series.

Butterfly Bearistas!
Hi! It has been a long time since I’ve posted! A new bearista friend, April, has inspired me to post again. So, for my first post in a long time I’m posting the Butterfly Bearistas. They are the 73rd (boy) and 74th (girl) editions of the Bearistas and they are from 2008. I believe they were only released in Asia. They have cute butterfly wings and yellow bellies with yellow antennae.
Rainbow Ribbon Bearista Rabbit (2008)
You wouldn’t believe how soft this Bearista is! He is wearing a bunny suit and the ears are stripey and colorful to match his rainbow ribbon. He has a pink nose and a year patch on his left foot. This is the 75th Edition of the Bearista Bears from Spring 2008. I know they have done a lot of rabbits for Easter and stuff, but I think they are still adorable! Click the photo to enlarge. 🙂
Gingerbread Boy & Girl Plus Magnets! (2008)
Here I have the whole Gingerbread Bearista family! There is the boy Gingerbear (78th edition of the Bearista series) and the girl Gingerbear (79th edition of the Bearista series) and they are together with the small magnet boy and girl bearistas. The boys have red buttons and green ties with the gingerbread suit and the girls have orange ribbons with green buttons and the girl gingerbread suits. As you probably know, gingerbread is a traditional holiday treat and these bears are certainly a treat as well! I am fairly certain that the Gingerbread series only came out in Asia. I got my bears from eBay. I am not 100% certain about that though. At any rate, they are charming and beautiful! Click the photos to enlarge. 🙂
Reindeer Dancing All Around (2008)
These reindeer came out in 2008 and they rock! They are made from an interesting mix of fabrics including brown cord fabric that gives them their deer look. The big ones have red bows around their necks and stand proud and tall. The baby reindeer is actually an ornament with a ribbon hook that you could hang him up with. The baby also has buttons on his legs which make him look quite unique. The undersides of the reindeers are green and they all sport antlers. They were a fun addition to the 2008 Starbucks lineup! Beijing Destination Bearista (2008)
Here is the 2008 Beijing Destination Series Bearista. She is the 40th edition in the Starbucks Bearista series. She is waving a Beijing flag that is in English on the back, and (I’m assuming) Chinese on the front. She has rosy cheeks and is wearing a light blue polo shirt and khaki skirt with white under garments. Her red Beijing sweatshirt is tied around her waist and she has a red cap as well. She also has some fabulous eyelashes! Click the photos to enlarge. 🙂
