Asia Valentine Girl (2011)

March 23, 2011

This is the Valentine Girl that was sold in Asia in 2011. She is the 98th edition in the Bearista series. She is very similar to the North America Valentine Girl, except that she has a reddish-pink muffler on her hand and she has a different hat with more reddish-pink fuzzy fabric. She’s also wearing the pink Valentine sweater that is on the North America Valentine girl, and the skirt is similar with a brown background and light pink hearts. Super cute as always! Little Bo Peep and Her Sheep Bearistas (2004)

March 10, 2011

These three bears came out at the same time. The black sheep and the white sheep are 31st in the series and Bo-Peep Bearista is the 30th edition in the series. All of the bearistas are from Spring 2004. The sheep bearistas have super super fuzzy fur and have little bells around their necks so Bo-Peep can keep track of them! Bo Peep is wearing a blue gingham dress with white eyelet underclothes and she has a staff for the sheep and is wearing a straw hat with blue ribbons and a yellow flower. Bo Peep is also quite fluffy, but not as fluffy as the sheep of course! A very cute collection from 2004! Click to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Rainbow Ribbon Bearista Rabbit (2008)

March 10, 2011

You wouldn’t believe how soft this Bearista is! He is wearing a bunny suit and the ears are stripey and colorful to match his rainbow ribbon. He has a pink nose and a year patch on his left foot. This is the 75th Edition of the Bearista Bears from Spring 2008. I know they have done a lot of rabbits for Easter and stuff, but I think they are still adorable! Click the photo to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Spring Lamb Bearista with Pink Bow (1999)

March 2, 2011

This is the 10th edition of the Bearista series from 1999! This little bear is starting to take on the look of the later bearistas, but he still has a unique early look. The bearista is dressed up as a little lamb and his suit is very fuzzy! His pink bow matches his inner ears and tail. He doesn’t have any markings on his feet, but his tag indicates the year and the number in the series. He is just adorable and fun to love! Click to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Spring Bunny with Pink Apron (1998)

March 2, 2011

This is one of the oldest Bearistas that I own! Although it doesn’t say the year on the tag, according to BearistaTales.com, this bunny Bearista is from 1998 and is the third Bearista in the series! He is a really different style of bear than the recent bears. He has slightly shaggy fur and is a bit thinner and taller than most of the bearistas. His apron says “Starbucks Bearista Bunny.” Very adorable with his floppy ears! Click the photo to enlarge. πŸ™‚

North America Valentine Girl (2011)

February 18, 2011

Another adorable Valentine’s Day Bearista this year! She is the 102nd Edition in the Bearista series. She is holding a letter in her hand and it says “True Love,” “To: the one I love” and “From: a secret admirer.” I have included a close up of the letter so you can see it better. πŸ™‚ Her outfit this year is brown, pink and red. She is wearing brown slipper shoes that match her brown skirt that has pink hearts on it. Her shirt is red and the sweater is pink with red hearts on the edge. She’s also got a pink and brown bow and super-cute eyelashes! πŸ™‚

2011 Chinese New Year, Year of the Rabbit

February 18, 2011

Here is a pic of the 2011 Year of the Rabbit Bearista without me in the pic! πŸ™‚ He is the 99th edition in the Bearista Series and as far as I know he is only sold in Asia. I ordered mine from an eBay seller out of Asia. He’s got the 2011 banner flag and very beautiful designs. He has a patch on his left foot that indicates the year and that he is a Starbucks bear. The bunny hood does pull down and off his head if you want to change up his look a little bit. I just love these Chinese New Year bears! They are great!!!

Year of the Rabbit Bearista (2011)

February 3, 2011

This is a picture of me posing with my new Year of the Rabbit Chinese New Year Bearista! I’ll probably post a pic later of just the bear. He’s super cute and his outfit is really beautiful. He’s even carrying a banner. Happy Chinese New Year!

Gingerbread Boy & Girl Plus Magnets! (2008)

December 18, 2010

Here I have the whole Gingerbread Bearista family! There is the boy Gingerbear (78th edition of the Bearista series) and the girl Gingerbear (79th edition of the Bearista series) and they are together with the small magnet boy and girl bearistas. The boys have red buttons and green ties with the gingerbread suit and the girls have orange ribbons with green buttons and the girl gingerbread suits. As you probably know, gingerbread is a traditional holiday treat and these bears are certainly a treat as well! I am fairly certain that the Gingerbread series only came out in Asia. I got my bears from eBay. I am not 100% certain about that though. At any rate, they are charming and beautiful! Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Bearista Fireplace Decorations

December 13, 2010

We have this thing on our fireplace that I got from Pottery Barn. So many people have this wall accessory that it is kind of embarrassing, but I still like it anyway. It is fun to change up the decorations for it during the different seasons. So, I decided my winter/holiday Bearista magnets would make perfect decorations for this! I put some red yarn in the bottom of the glasses with the bears. In the other glasses I put tissue Christmas paper, little balls of yarn and some gold ornament balls that we had. Then I made some little poofy yarn things to add to a few of the holders. I wanted to keep it kind of random. It looks pretty cute in person. It might be kind of hard to tell how cute it is from the photos. I am including one close up, so you can see the detail better. Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Bearista Tree 2010 Final Update (Probably)

December 13, 2010

Well, I think this is probably the final update for the Bearista tree. I found some more bears to put on and I found some little red ornaments and I added ribbon and put them on the tree too! I’m pretty sure I won’t be adding anything more. I think the little red ornaments look pretty good though. I’m glad I went to the trouble of adding them. I’m not too sure they are very visible in the small photo though. Click the photo to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Plaid Santa Bearista Boy & Girl (2009)

December 10, 2010

Last year Starbucks really outdid themselves with this cute couple. Here are the plaid Santa boy and girl Bearistas. The boy is the 86th edition and the girl is the 87th edition of the Bearista series. The boy has plaid pants, a red santa coat, a big santa buckle belt and santa hat while the girl is dressed up in a satin red dress with a plaid santa coat and a red cap with a poinsetta flower attached. They both have the Bearista patch on their feet and their coats are almost military-esque with a hint of gold. The girl has eyelashes and rosy cheeks too! Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Bearista Tree 2010 Update

December 9, 2010

We decided to add some snowflakes, a tree skirt and the angel to the top of the Bearista Christmas tree. I think it looks just great! Yay! Click the photo to enlarge. It looks better bigger! πŸ™‚

Big Christmas Bear (2004)

December 9, 2010

This is the 38th edition of the Bearista seriesβ€”a big, beautiful, fluffy Christmas bear wearing a dark, velvet red and white santa hat with holly and a dark, velvet red and white scarf with holly. This bear’s fur is really soft and cuddly, and he has a super cute face too! I wish the internet had feel-a-vision, because this bear is just so nice and soft to touch! Rudolph Bearista (2003)

December 5, 2010

2003 was a great year for Rudolph! Starbucks came out with the Rudolph small bearista and also a larger one. He has a nice red nose, a red scarf, and of course antlers. He has a Rudolph patch on his foot and on his other foot is the Starbucks Bearista year indicator medal. This is the 28th edition in the Bearista series. He also has a fluffy reindeer tail in the back and fluffy reindeer ears. Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Holiday Snowman + Snow Puppy (2006)

December 5, 2010

These cute critters were part of the Holiday 2006 line. The snowman is all decked out with a fine winter cap and scarf and he is holding onto the snow puppy with his stick arms and a red leash. The snow puppy is detachable, but can be reattached by sticking him onto the snowman where there is velcro. Great for holiday decorating scenes and cute as can be! Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Bearista Christmas Tree 2010

December 1, 2010

‘Tis the season to put your bears on the tree! πŸ™‚ This year we decided to decorate the Christmas tree with the winter bears from my collection (plus a couple of Hello Kitty ornaments). It looks way cuter in person, but the photos give a peek. πŸ™‚ Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Winter Pajama Boy and Girl Bearistas (2007)

November 30, 2010

Here are the OH-SO-Adorable bearista bears from the Winter of 2007. They are the 68th (boy) and 69th (girl) edition bears in the bearista collection. They are both holding their own little cuddle bears and they are all cozy in their pajamas and slippers. The girl bearista has a pink bow and pink and red snowflake pajamas and the boy bearista has a red and white striped stocking cap with red pajamas. They both have red slippers with fluffy white on the inside. They seem ready to sit by the fire and listen to a nice winter-time story before bed! Click the photos to enlarge. πŸ™‚

Reindeer Dancing All Around (2008)

November 22, 2010

These reindeer came out in 2008 and they rock! They are made from an interesting mix of fabrics including brown cord fabric that gives them their deer look. The big ones have red bows around their necks and stand proud and tall. The baby reindeer is actually an ornament with a ribbon hook that you could hang him up with. The baby also has buttons on his legs which make him look quite unique. The undersides of the reindeers are green and they all sport antlers. They were a fun addition to the 2008 Starbucks lineup! Snowman Bearista with Music Box (1999)

November 19, 2010

This is a larger size bearista and he is totally awesome! Not only is he adorable with the plaid scarf, snowman suit, top hat and carrot nose, but he also has a wind-up music box inside of him! When you wind him up he plays the song “We Wish You a Merry Christmas!” He is the 8th edition in the bearista series and he was born in 1999. Click the image for a larger photo. πŸ™‚
