This is the Valentine Girl that was sold in Asia in 2011. She is the 98th edition in the Bearista series. She is very similar to the North America Valentine Girl, except that she has a reddish-pink muffler on her hand and she has a different hat with more reddish-pink fuzzy fabric. She’s also wearing the pink Valentine sweater that is on the North America Valentine girl, and the skirt is similar with a brown background and light pink hearts. Super cute as always! Another adorable Valentine’s Day Bearista this year! She is the 102nd Edition in the Bearista series. She is holding a letter in her hand and it says “True Love,” “To: the one I love” and “From: a secret admirer.” I have included a close up of the letter so you can see it better. 🙂 Her outfit this year is brown, pink and red. She is wearing brown slipper shoes that match her brown skirt that has pink hearts on it. Her shirt is red and the sweater is pink with red hearts on the edge. She’s also got a pink and brown bow and super-cute eyelashes! 🙂
Here is a pic of the 2011 Year of the Rabbit Bearista without me in the pic! 🙂 He is the 99th edition in the Bearista Series and as far as I know he is only sold in Asia. I ordered mine from an eBay seller out of Asia. He’s got the 2011 banner flag and very beautiful designs. He has a patch on his left foot that indicates the year and that he is a Starbucks bear. The bunny hood does pull down and off his head if you want to change up his look a little bit. I just love these Chinese New Year bears! They are great!!!
We have this thing on our fireplace that I got from Pottery Barn. So many people have this wall accessory that it is kind of embarrassing, but I still like it anyway. It is fun to change up the decorations for it during the different seasons. So, I decided my winter/holiday Bearista magnets would make perfect decorations for this! I put some red yarn in the bottom of the glasses with the bears. In the other glasses I put tissue Christmas paper, little balls of yarn and some gold ornament balls that we had. Then I made some little poofy yarn things to add to a few of the holders. I wanted to keep it kind of random. It looks pretty cute in person. It might be kind of hard to tell how cute it is from the photos. I am including one close up, so you can see the detail better. Click the photos to enlarge. 🙂
